Iveron - 4.5 x 6 (Maple)

The Hawaiian Iveron icon is a miraculous myrrh streaming icon that originates from the island of Oahu in Hawaii. The icon is a printed icon that was made from the Montreal Myrrh Streaming Iveron Icon and was purchased in Toronto at a parish bookstore and brought back to Oahu and given by a priest to his parishioners who had the icon in their home when they began to smell an overwhelming sense of myrrh. Upon investigation they discovered that the Iveron icon that they had been given was completely drenched in myrrh. The icon was then brought to their church and given to their priest to determine the validity of the icon, It was determined that it was indeed miraculous and myrrh streaming. This icon now travels all over the world visiting parishes and pilgrims who come from all over the venerate the icon of the Panagia.

This 4.5 x 6 icon of the Iveron in maple is the perfect size to have on your desk or on your icon wall.

Note on wood products - All wood warps, that is something you have to remember with these icons. Warping over time will occur but it wont affect the icon. We use Feed-N-Wax for all of our icons which is our wood sealant and we recommend touching up the icons with this product as needed. If you get water spots from having the icon blessed the easiest way to get rid of them is to apply the Feed-N-Wax product mentioned above to the areas with the water spots and they should go away.

All of our gilding is done with 24k gold and sealed with shellac.
