About Us

St Herman Studios was founded in 2024 by husband and wife Columba and Lydia Riley in their garage in NW Montana. Lydia has spent over a decade sculpting action figures and collectibles in the toy industry and was previously vice president of a major sculpting studio. She is now a full time Iconographer writing Icons for the Orthodox Church.

Columba and Lydia and their two daughters Anne and Penelope are members of the Serbian Orthodox Church under His Grace Bishop Maxim. The studios passion is to put an Icon into the hands of every Orthodox Christian!

Each icon design is sculpted digitally by Lydia with a pen and tablet in a program called Z Brush and then replicated using cnc machines. Each sculpted icon takes roughly 100-200 hours to sculpt. No AI is used and never will be used for any of our icons. All of our icons are made to order and made in Montana.
